The “Space Sadness” campaign evokes the image of a futurological heroines–replicants who look similar to humans, but are also characterized by hidden sensitivity, dreams and empathy. Krystian Lipiec’s portrait and analog photography, using silvery, unreal light, alludes to the atmosphere of film noir with strong contrast and shadow play. This is a reference to mysterious cinematic stories about fluid boundaries and transpositions. Jewellery pieces, these peculiar objects with an non-obvious function, also combine unexpected, ambivalent configurations of artificial and natural, male and female, human and non-human.
